Here is the best costume from the race. She wore it for 50 miles. Awesome. The picture really doesn’t do justice to the foot-long beak. Her headlamp was secured to the end of it. Asa asked her if she could stand on one leg at mile 35 and she managed to smile — and not spit at him. The San Antonio crew did the town proud. [...]Liza
I had a nice run this morning checking out the trails around UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio) that connect to the Salado Creek Greenway. The cross country coach was kind enough to give me a tour. I didn’t run in high school or college (swam some of high school and played Spades in college), so I peppered him with questions [...]Liza
T. and I are both back at the podiatrist’s office this morning. Our appointments weren’t 15 minutes apart this time; They were both scheduled for 9:45.
