Ruby, Asa and I fly to DC on Monday night and then the ball starts rolling downhill to trail camp. We’ll buy food and then drive down on Tuesday, set things up on Wednesday, and I’ll start teaching a Wilderness First Aid course for the mentors on Thursday. We should have stopped once Ruby needed help lifting her plastic pumpkin, but her brother kept us going. We did come up with a great new drinking game, though.
