Satisfactory!

LizaLiza

I’m going to try to write in the mornings this week. I’m just a useless salted slug by the time Ruby goes to bed at night. It’s all I can do to sit on the couch and scroll through Twitter. I can’t make actual sentences since I’m not having actual thoughts after about 3:30pm. 3pm. Okay, there is not actual thinking going on in my head after 2pm.

Anyway, as you know, I’m attending on-line kindergarten right now, and I ended up with a Satisfactory on one of the assignments. When I was in kindergarten the first time, I got Outstandings. My decline was a bit upsetting. Satisfactory! I mean, I didn’t flip over any tables or anything, but I did eat a few extra bowls of ice cream. At least Ruby and I aren’t failing. That was always a possibility with all this online maneuvering. The teacher sends the week’s assignments on Sunday nights and it’s disheartening to see my inbox fill with work — that I might get Satisfactories on.

I did manage to get more of the house painted this weekend. It was satisfying, but it also confirmed that no one would ever hire me for this kind of work. I am so slow. I still have two sides after this one, but they’re mostly trim. Then it’s onto the yard! The neighbors will have to find some other home owners in the hood to curse.
