Blob tag 289/365

LizaLiza

Asa and I read “Macbeth” yesterday, and it made me feel pretty productive when Eliot got home.

“What did you do today?”

“I read “Macbeth” with our son.” (I did not, however, prepare any dinner.)

I’m a bit stressed about Ruby’s birthday party tomorrow. I never worried about Asa’s August parties at the pool much. Invite a bunch of boys to the pool. Provide pizza and a cake. Done!  Tired boys. Huge success. I feel like little girls require more entertaining somehow. I know I shouldn’t feel that way. But I do. Little girls make me nervous. Or, really, the mothers of little girls make me nervous.

Here’s what I’m thinking so far:

Blob tag. (You tag someone and then you have to hold hands with that person. Each tagged person is added to the blob.)

Tiny pumpkin decorating.

Pin the tail on the donkey. (Or maybe stem on the pumpkin, hat on the witch…)

Pinata whacking.

Cake.

Kids play on the playground.

Any suggestions out there?

What’s making me happy: This political ad. I don’t the candidates. I’m just appreciating the cleverness.

Running: Foot rest day.
