Working on lightning 257/365

I’m supposed to be writing an article about lightning injuries — and preventing them — for irunfar today, but I haven’t been struck by ways to make the information memorable.  No sparks of inspiration. I’ve never really been amped about teaching the lightning class during the Wilderness First Aid course either. These puns aren’t helping. More tomorrow.

What’s making me happy: This wonderful blue down blanket Casey and Voon sent me. I napped under it in the back of their car and sang it’s praises so loudly, they sent me one. 🙂 The kids and I could only stay under it long enough to take this picture because it’s still so dang hot here.

Running: 30 min easy, 5 x 3 minutes with 3 minutes easy, 30 min easy. // 2nd run 4.5 miles nice and slow.

I’m sure a flash of brilliance will strike you soon! And snuggling under a down blanket in August in Texas is just the kind of motivation you will need to thunder through this article.

I think I might throw a party when it’s cool enough here to nap under the down blanket.
