Toe pain scale:
1 = Let’s run 62 miles on pavement!
10 = Return the USA roller bag and everything in it.
My entire foot is swollen, but it’s just my toe that hurts. I tried to run this morning, but despite my optimism, and a pair of Hokas, and a lot of buddy taping, I just sat in my friend’s car working while he ran 16 miles. I am not going to freak out. But I am regretting not running 20 miles yesterday. This might be an over-the-cliff kind of taper.
What’s making me happy: India’s Number 1 Pain Balm.
