Irony or karma? 206/365

My dog bite puncture wounds are healing nicely, thank you.

I’m not sure whether I’m annoyed that I might have scars on my back or pleased to have a good scar story.

I forgot to tell you that I was just about to sit down and write the follow up to the Trail Running and Safety Survey Results article when I was attacked by that dog. Remember that survey that over 5000 people participated in?

And remember how we’d added a question about being attacked by wild animals?

And how that question led to over 5000 comments that chided us for not including a question about dog attacks? (It wasn’t quite 5000, but it felt that way.) And how that was frustrating because animal attacks wasn’t what the survey was about at all?

Well, I’d just written Meghan Hicks to confirm what the thrust of this followup article should be and joked: “So you just want me to write about dog attacks, right? Haha”

Anyway, I’m not sure if the fact that I got attacked by a dog shortly thereafter qualifies as irony or karma.

Thoughts?

What’s making me happy:

Running: 80 min easy with 6 x 20 seconds fast
