Phew! I got behind in this blog-0-day for 2018, and I started to worry last night that really wasn’t going to be able to make up the entries. (Yeah, yeah, I know that shouldn’t be a thing, but I’ve got a grumpy 4 year-old, and there’s a clause for that.) Summer is just a hard time to be introspective with the kids out of school and often at each other’s throats — and the work and work travel. Blah blah blah.

Today, Asa starts 4 days of computer programming camp at UTSA. And I start some serious core work and rolling leading up to the 100k Champs in Croatia in September. (And some hard running.) 61 days!

I also have to figure out what I’m going to do with the kids out in Silverton while I pace Brian at Hardrock next weekend.

We’re going to drive out to Colorado on Tuesday and take two days to get there. I need to find a sitter to watch them while I’m pacing. Surely, somebody wants to spend some time with a (grumpy) 4 year-old during Hardrock.

What’s making me happy:

Running: 1st run: 60 minutes easy. 2nd run: 80 min easy with 6 x 20 seconds fast/2 min easy
