Sleepless in San Antonio 165/365

You guys, I am so tired. So you know what that means? It’s time for me to come across an article on the importance of sleep! And voila!

Honestly! If I weren’t so tired, I’d laugh… or cry… or do something besides staring at this computer screen blankly for minutes at a time.

I’m working a lot of weekends to fun some summer travel and the trip to Croatia in September. Things are going to be a bit insane until the end of June. Just 5 more weeks…

What’s making me happy:

Running: 0 I just couldn’t make it happen. 🙁

I am so with you! (saw that article too – but then there’s one in the Guardian on the importance of a “lie-in” (sleeping late) occasionally. And that those who get 6-7h of sleep are (in some studies) at lower risk of things than those who get 8+ or 5. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2018/may/23/weekend-lie-ins-could-help-you-avoid-an-early-death-study-says So…. And I just read an article on the concept of rest LOL. I’m considering getting one of those weighted blankets to help me actually sleep in the hours so allotted. Desperate times. 🙂

I feel like a weighted blanket would be the end of me. “Sorry, kids. I’m going to have to stay in bed today.”
