I’m starting to think about MdS as a restful vacation with a bit running thrown in. I’m not underestimating the desert...

It’s an actual blizzard here.
I’ve tried all day to get some snow-blowing-sideways-poor-visibility-thundersnow pictures, but my phone just can’t do it. You’ll have to take my word for it. Thundersnow!
There is sideways snow in this picture, but it was taken before the storm intensified to a blizzard.
(I got in at 2am last night, and that coffee in my hand disappeared far too quickly.)
Darned if all 30 of my students didn’t show up though. They’re a hardy lot up here. We actually didn’t get to play outside for scenarios because we had a deaf student in the class, and his interpreters said they need to keep their hands uncovered to interpret. No one was really unhappy to stay inside besides me. I mean, as long as it’s an historic blizzard, I wanted to spend some time in it. I’ll make time to make a snow angel tomorrow at least. I really want to bring some snowballs home for the kids, but I can’t figure how to get that through security.
What’s making me happy: My Mississippi runners who sent me this picture this morning.
Running: Not in the historic blizzard or on the hotel treadmill. Will start back up again on Monday.
