I’ve been feeling like an unmotivated lump for the past few weeks, and my running has been lackluster, so my coach recommended take the day off and back off a bit. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to trust your coach’s assessment of your needs — especially when they involve rest.  So I enjoyed my slug-like day instead of worrying about the lack of training. It’s 7:30pm now and I’m in bed ready to fall asleep to some podcast or another.

Running: Zero.
