Lazy Saturday 77/365

LizaLiza

Today was the first Saturday in a long while that we’ve all been home and able to have a slow morning. It was glorious. Eliot slept in, and I made a grand To Do list while the kids entertained themselves without too many calls for mediation.

After Eliot got up, I headed out for a run. It was my first long run since I fell apart last weekend. I still feel a like a salted slug, but I was really grateful to even want to run. I stayed close to home, so I wouldn’t impact the day too much, but I managed to get on some trails, which was just what I needed.

What’s making me happy:

Chicken People!!! I have it saved on my DVR now. Interesting, thought provoking, joyful, weird and quite engaging.

That is my Ebert imitation and I’m sticking to it.
