A good one 50/365

Today was a good one.

It started with a 2-mile loop of the neighborhood. I pushed Ruby and Eliot laid out the plans for the bookcase he’s going to build for Asa. Ruby is less and less inclined to stay in the baby jogger, but we got the loop done. Asa stayed home to build a Lego safe.  The weather couldn’t have been nicer: Sunny and somewhere in the 60s.

And then I painted the house to 80s pop music.

First it was Asa and me, and then it was Eliot and me. And then it was just me singing Starship’s “We Built This City.”

The courtyard is almost all primed now.

I took a break in the middle of all that for a run.

Running: 13.5 miles easy. It was supposed to be 12 miles, but I misjudged the distance home and the difficulty crossing the highway.

Looking good! I have visions of you running faster and faster to dissuade Ruby from jumping out of the stroller… How does Asa get on with 80s pop music? I assume you mean he and Eliot were singing along while painting as well 🙂

It was mostly me singing off key. Eliot tried to ruin Guns N’ Roses for me with tales of the band’s behavior, but I just sang louder.
