I’m starting to think about MdS as a restful vacation with a bit running thrown in. I’m not underestimating the desert...
Resolutions 21/365
Liza21 days of blogging and I don’t feel like it’s quite a habit yet. Maybe in another three weeks.
Here are the 2018 resolutions:
- Dedicate myself to qualifying for the US 100 km team within the bounds staying happily married and mom-ing
- 8 hours a night of sleep
- Strength work (My brother in-law has issued a semi-challenge/suggestion.)
- No alcohol until Mad City (or September if I qualify)
- No sugar except during runs (It’s just the easiest handrail that’ll keep me eating unprocessed foods & more green things)
- Strengthen the Band of Runners Community
- Raise funds for next two years of camp
- FB page or Instagram daily
- Put on the most effective and fun camp yet
- Blog daily
- Run/Meet up with Rockhoppers once a week (No more hermit-living.)
Running: 10 miles on some snowy roads. 28 degrees has started to feel tolerable. Time to return to Texas.
