The force is strong with this one 1/365

San Antonio snowman, 2pm.

“The force is strong with this one.” Caption contest winner: Ricky Haro.  🙂

I haven’t checked on the snowman’s status this morning. I’ll update after my run this afternoon.

The kids still had school despite the 2 inch accumulation — which was the most snow we’ve had since 1985. Asa was pretty sad to head in on time — especially because Eliot was delayed until noon. I saved a snowball for him in the freezer. He’s yet to throw it — and now it’s really more of a dangerous ice ball. I’ll let you know if anybody loses an eye.

I’ve been working on the dates for next year’s trail camp and trying to figure out non-profit on-line fundraising laws. So much gray. Next go around, I’ll choose a law degree over a history degree.

Running: 9 miles at an easy to moderate pace.

Racing: Everything was put on hold for a bit. November’s camp and then lots of work, and the full (great) catastrophe of family life “conspired” to make long quality runs too high of a hurdle.  So my goal is still a qualifying time for the US 100km team. But I’m going to put all my eggs in one basket at Mad City in April. Eggs in one basket is a good idea, right?

Blogging: Old blogging streak was a bust. New blogging streak going well Day 1.
