I’m starting to think about MdS as a restful vacation with a bit running thrown in. I’m not underestimating the desert...
Morning time
LizaIt’s almost 6am, and Ruby is still asleep. The second pot of coffee is brewing, the chickens are big enough to sleep outside all night, and Eliot’s going to bake some bread. Life is good.
I’m going to Tucson to teach this weekend at the NOLS Southwest Branch in Tucson, and I’m really excited. One of these days, I’ll be going there to teach a field course again. I don’t have much running to do with Tussey mOUnTtaiNBACK the following weekend, which is almost unfortunate because it’s such a lovely place to run — except that I’ll sleep instead.
I’ve got some trail camp business to do, and new tires to get for the car — and the sink is not draining — so I’ll leave off with a picture of the Milky Way my dad took last weekend.
