I run trails because…

LizaLiza

I think I told you that we’re inviting survivors of servicemembers to the trail camp this year.  We’re working with TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors), and they asked me to write about what makes trail running meaningful — something that might convince non-runners or road runners to give the trails a try.  I struggled for a really long time trying to figure out the best way to write persuasively about trail running before I realized I needed to hand it over to the community. The responses were just perfect.  I’m so grateful to everyone who’s responded.  (Some days social media is a fine thing.) Take a look and then if you have time, please add your reason in the comments.

I’ll compile them all and send them off tomorrow.  Good stuff!!!
