Long summer days

LizaLiza

This blog post is an exercise in writing.  Because there’s nothing going on here today. Ruby is cutting pieces of string for the cats to play with and I am trying to concentrate on unanswered emails.  Asa is at Lego camp.  He’s making a Lego safe, which makes me chuckle every time I think about it.  His design for the combination is impressive, but, you know, there’s a reason Fort Knox didn’t go with Legos.

I’m really just biding my time until nap time.  Naptime holds the promise of completing work. There’s got to be some sort of work-from-home-with-kids-during-the-summer support group… for runners.  I think I can muster the requisite concentration to google that while the cats chase Ruby around the kitchen.

Run: 90 minutes with 4 x 1 minute hard and 5 minutes easy.

Felt good.  (Ate my weight in watermelon afterwards.)
