Good grief

LizaLiza

So I’m sure some of you chuckled when I said I write down a plan for the race tomorrow.  I envisioned some sort of time today when I would sit down and think.  That did not take place.  And now it’s 9:30pm and I have to get to sleep before I turn into a pumpkin.

Asa came in second in the kids race.  He did enough warm-up exercises beforehand to make Joe Uhan proud.  Then he told me to keep up and he took off.  It was excellent.  I might just take up chaperoning kids races.

Anyway, I promise lots of mishaps tomorrow to make you chuckle.  I’ve got my age tacked on the back of my hydration pack so I can take part in the USATF Championships.  Watch out 40-44 year old women!  My toenails are clipped and I’m kid-free.  🙂

More Sunday — or Saturday if I am not in a ball vomiting my guts out.

Thanks, Allen! If only I hadn’t stopped to go the bathroom for 18 seconds… 😉
