Backpack strength training and litter boxes

LizaLiza

I’m embarrassed to say that I’m going to have to stop drinking large cups of espresso after noon.  This is the third night in a row that I’ve been up past the cat’s bedtime.  I thought I was so much stronger.  I expect the caffeine people will come and revoke my card any minute now.  Anyway, the lack of sleep and not having a babysitter has made running tough this week.  I didn’t get the second run in today.  Sadness.  I did wander around with a 38 pound pack for two hours though.  Besides almost dying when I bent over to clean the litter box — and during the soccer game Ruby and I played, — it went well.

Asa got the cuter backpack.

Oh no! I can barely keep up with Ruby with the 38-pound pack on. The speed workouts are with the MdS pack. The minimum pack weight for MdS without water is 6.5kg or 14.3 pounds. So I’ll run with a 16ish pound pack.

38 pounds still felt incredibly heavy today, Nick. I mostly stood around with it.
