Trail Running Camp 2013: Just a Bit

I’m hip deep in thank you notes and bills and laundry and grumpy babies, so this will just be a short blog today.  I figured if I waited to write something entirely worthwhile about the Trail Running Camp, I wouldn’t be writing again until next month.  And I need to do some writing, so all that other stuff doesn’t make me go hide under the bed.  You should go to the Trail Running Camp Facebook page to see all the pictures that folks have posted — and read some of their recaps.

Here is Eduard Lychik’s post.

The camp went very well.  Alison and Jason Bryant and Joe and Joyce Prusaitis make for a dream team as co-camp directors and all the volunteers were incredible.

What made the camp for me this year was Mike Ehredt’s presence.

You’ll want to watch this video of Mike.

OK, gotta go feed the grumpy baby.  More tomorrow.

Liza, when I first started following your blog a few months ago, I was interested in it because I like working out and I happened to be pregnant, too. It has been great to read your posts use it for motivation for my workouts! Then, I realized your connection to Team RWB, and was even more intrigued! I am a vet and member of TRWB. I had really wanted to attend the trail running camp this year, but baby’s impending arrival prevented it. One of my goals for 2014 is to go to that camp! I look forward to meeting you in person. Thank you for all you do for TRWB–it is sincerely appreciated! 🙂

Hi Anne! Thanks so much for the kind comment. Small world. 🙂 I hope we’ll get to meet at the camp next year and I hope your pregnancy is “easy.”

I will make a point to say hi at camp. My pregnancy was a breeze–and only 42 minutes from hospital check-in to baby arriving! My girl is almost 11 weeks now. Cheers and congrats to you! 🙂
