En route to Arkansas Traveller to pace and another glacier picture

Approaching Mt. Shuksan by the Sulphide Glacier.

Amanda and Lalo are coming to pick me up at 430 tomorrow morning to catch our flight to Arkansas.  Don’t tell them, but I’m not packed yet.  I also just realized that I lent out both my hydration packs.  The good UltrAspire ones.  I do have a third one (because all addicts do), but it doesn’t hold as much as I’d like it to as a pacer and it doesn’t fit.  Looks like I’m going to be showcasing the junkshow look. Thank goodness I’ve got sick pacing skills.  Been taught by the best.   I don’t want Amanda to do any vomiting Saturday, but I’m ready with some inspiring words if she does.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the Ouachita National Forest.  I don’t know that I’ve ever been to Arkansas — certainly not this century at any rate.  Crewing, pacing and Arkansas stories to come.
