Omens and Tusker
Hello from the Raddisson in Dallas. I’m up here to teach a Wilderness First Aid class this weekend. Despite this hotel art,
I think it’s going to be a great weekend. (Minus any hilly running.) I think this because a man boarding the plane in San Antonio was wearing a Tusker Beer T-shirt. (From our Wickipedian friends: “The brand was first marketed in 1923, shortly after the founder of Kenya Breweries Ltd, George Hurst, was killed by an elephant during a hunting accident. It was in this year that the elephant logo, that is synonymous with Tusker Lager, was incorporated.) I drank a Tusker or two when I went to Kenya to teach. Anyway, I’m taking the t-shirt as a good omen. Hope your Friday was full of good omens too and lots of free tiny shampoos.

You went to Kenya to teach? What the…I don’t even know you!
Dude, she’s a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in an extra small puffy jacket. Also, very fast.
Yeah, but when she was in Kenya the only guy to run with her was a slow guy
Ask her about Navy Seals Tim. Bet she could tell you a lot!
But she may have to kill you afterward : (
This is why we are so alike. I love Tusker!- even have a Tusker t-shirt and named my first dog Tusker. (He was a scared pointer mix with suicidal tendencies, but this is for another day…)
Fingers crossed for the tiny shampoos…
[...] so I guess this is when I’ll find out if she embedded a tracking device on me at some point. After hearing about her Kenya training and SWAT team involvement…I just don’t know…… Random Tim [...]
